You bring in the paper you need notarized.
I offer free notarization if you come into my office during normal business hours. Remember: bring an ID and do not sign ahead of time.
Have your document notarized from your device! You will connect with a notary public to sign your document on a live video call. The notary will verify your identity, witness your signature, and sign and seal the document.
You will need the ability to scan and send documents, which can be as easy as taking a picture on your phone. You will also need to make a video call with one of the common programs like Skype, Facetime, Facebook Messenger, or WhatsApp.
Once connected, the standard in-person notary fee applies.
The Indiana Uniform Electronic Transaction Act, Indiana Code 26-2-8, provides that signatures for notarizations may be electronic. A more extensive remote notary law will take effect on July 1, 2019, Senate Enrolled Act No. 372.
We arrange a time and place for a notary to come out to you!
This service is only available by appointment.
The notary will also charge a mileage rate of $0.545 per mile traveled.
Once the notary arrives, the standard in-person notary fee applies.
