Attorney Alexis Sizemore is an Indianapolis employment attorney and civil litigator at Alvarez Legal. She represents employees and individuals throughout Indiana in employment discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, sexual harassment, pregnancy discrimination, disability discrimination, race discrimination, national origin discrimination, civil rights, personal injury, and appellate matters.
Alexis is passionate about helping people stand up to employers, insurance companies, and government entities when their rights have been violated. She understands that losing a job, experiencing workplace discrimination, or recovering from a serious injury can create tremendous stress and uncertainty. Her goal is to guide clients through the legal process with honest advice, responsive communication, and aggressive advocacy from start to finish.
Before joining Alvarez Legal, Attorney Alexis Sizemore built an impressive litigation background serving in both the Marion County Public Defender Agency and the Marion County Prosecutor's Office.
As a public defender, Alexis represented clients charged with offenses ranging from misdemeanors to major felonies. She litigated complex cases, conducted hearings and trials, negotiated favorable resolutions, and advocated for individuals from diverse backgrounds and communities throughout Marion County.
She later served as a Deputy Prosecutor in the Special Victims Unit, prosecuting major felony offenses and working closely with survivors of intimate partner violence. This experience strengthened her investigative skills, courtroom advocacy, and ability to analyze complex factual and legal issues are skills she now uses to benefit every client she represents.
Having worked on both sides of the courtroom, Attorney Sizemore understands how opposing counsel evaluate cases and develop litigation strategies. That perspective allows her to anticipate challenges, negotiate effectively, and prepare every case for the possibility of trial.
At Alvarez Legal, Attorney Sizemore focuses her practice on representing employees whose workplace rights have been violated.

Attorney Sizemore regularly drafts appellate briefs, litigates claims in both state and federal court, negotiates settlements during federal settlement conferences, and advocates for clients throughout every stage of litigation. She believes that every client deserves an attorney who is prepared, strategic, and willing to fight for a fair outcome.
Attorney Sizemore earned her Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law after graduating from Franklin College with bachelor's degrees in Philosophy and Political Science.
She is committed not only to representing clients but also to advancing the legal profession through education and community service. Alexis has served as an Adjunct Professor at Franklin College, where she taught Constitutional Law and mentored students preparing for law school.
She has also presented Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminars for fellow attorneys on topics including criminal justice reform, second chance initiatives, and driver's license reinstatement. In addition, she authored the Indianapolis Bar Association's Commonly Asked Questions: Automobile/Licensure Issues publication and has participated in numerous community legal education programs designed to improve access to justice.
